Film In Tanzania/Zanzibar (FITZ) is a film production company specializing in dealing with all bureaucratic matters necessary for film production to take place in Tanzania and Zanzibar. With almost a decade of film experience, from producing for large-scale organizations and media production houses both locally and internationally.
We focus on international companies and/or individuals, and offer professional production fixing and producing services of top tier standards.
We understand that no two productions are the same, and each production has its own workflow. We connect you with local and or international creatives and crew who have the hunger for success.

FITZ offers consultancy and guidelines when dealing with the procedures of having a production in Tanzania and Zanzibar. From assisting with processing Film permits both in Tanzania, Zanzibar and Game Reservations. Permits such as, Regional, Game Parks, Location, & Drone Permits. We assist in advising the best means of processing VISA’s and importing of equipment.
Producing
FITZ works with you from the planting of the seed, to the unearthing of its stems and till the ripening of the fruit. We deep dive from the conceptualization, all the way to post-production if necessary.
Crew & Cast Recruitment
FITZ works with Tanzanians most sorted after Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS). Who is vastly familiar with crew and talent with various skill sets to cater to an ever-changing market.
Photography Shoots
FITZ along with our TAS have partnered with a number of modeling agencies in the event that a photography shoot is needed. We can supply models based on your requirements.
Equipment Hire
When you work with FITZ, we outsource equipment through our many suppliers. Who have a wide range of equipment, all maintained to the highest standards by internationally trained technicians.
PRE-RECCE
Pre-Recce is a service that offers our clients the ability to know already what is on the ground before shooting. Via the team heading to pre-determined locations to capture footage, both pictures, and video to save time prior to the arrival of the client. That way you will already have the information you, to better shoot your shots.

FITZ’s fearless leader and founder. A Tanzanian film maker who fell in love with the art of film production. He holds a Honours Degree in Business and Administration from the University of Namibia. Majoring in Strategic Marketing and minoring in Entrepreneurship. In addition, with almost a decade of experience in film production under his belt.
Executive Director
Benedict (Ben) Rumisha
FITZ’s Director holds a degree from the Polytechinc of Namibia in Technology Economics. He is our money man. Our financial forecaster. The man with the bands. He handles the budgetary needs of any and all productions. With over 5 years of experience in line producing commercials, documentaries and films make him a force to be reckoned with.
